Starting October 2015 I will set up a new group at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology. I am looking for postdocs and PhD students.

The biomolecular interactions group at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology is looking for

Postdoctoral researchers and/or PhD students

in bioinformatics/computational biology

with a starting date of October 2015.

The group studies biomolecular interactions (protein-protein, protein-RNA and protein DNA) and develops algorithms for the analysis of mass spectrometric cross-linking data to identify novel interactions in vivo and to use this information to reconstruct large molecular complexes.

Your profile:

Applicants should have a degree in bioinformatics, computational biology or a related topic (PhD students) or a Phd in bioinformatics or a related topic (postdoctoral researchers). Excellent programming skills are required. Experience in structural bioinformatics or computational mass spectrometry are a plus.

Our offer:

Salaries and benefits are according to Max Planck Society regulations.

Your application:

The Max-Planck society is committed to increasing the number of individuals with disabilities in its workforce and therefore encourages applications from such qualified individuals. The Max Planck Society seeks to increase the number of women in those areas where they are underrepresented and therefore explicitly encourages women to apply.

Applications including detailed CV, a brief description of previous work, a list of publications as well as the names and contact information of three referees should be sent by email or mail before 31 August 2015 to:
